About The Scholarship

The Maryam Muhammad Legacy Foundation has been established to afford collegiate scholarship opportunities to college bond high school seniors of the foster care organization. The vision of this foundation is to aid aging out foster care youth in their pursuit of academic success as well as prepare them with pertinent life skills.  Mrs. Muhammad dedicated her life to nurturing children through her nursing career, daycare and ultimately the countless children she fostered therefore her legacy foundation will seek to continue the service of Mrs. Muhammad to youth of the community.
